Staff said the engagement letter will allow Dorsey & Whitney to process the documentation for short-term borrowing and that the hearing will be scheduled to consider the loan ordinance or action. "We will sign a letter with Dorsey to proceed with documents and then the public hearing would be April 6th to approve the short-term borrowing," staff reported.
Separately, the council approved Resolution 3626, renewing a lease with Tyson's for use of public parking for the same square footage and terms as prior years at $250 per month; staff confirmed receipt of the deposit.
During miscellaneous business, staff announced John’s retirement reception (March 24), the cancellation of an upcoming planning session, schedule details for April meetings, and updates from the ambulance commission and the library board. Council adjourned following the reports.
