At the June 23 workshop, staff described a proposed study of constituent relationship management (CRM) systems for elected‑official offices to track messages, casework and constituent concerns. Staff said a CRM could help offices target communications to affected neighborhoods and manage high volumes of correspondence.
Councilmember Guzman and Vice Mayor Milner said they learned about vendors at the National League of Cities and supported staff research. Staff estimated roughly 10 hours to compare vendors, costs and procurement paths and to return a memorandum to council with recommendations. Council gave consensus to proceed; no procurement or funding decisions were made at the workshop.
