Otis schedules June 13 community celebration; needs survey to close April 2

The Town of Otis Revitalization Committee reported Feb. 23 that its Needs Assessment Survey is slated to close April 2 and that planning is underway for an Otis Community Celebration on June 13 from 1–8 p.m. at Otis Ridge.
Committee members Jackie and Susan provided the event update, saying all town businesses and departments are invited. The committee noted that Otis Ridge and the Otis Cultural Council are major sponsors for the celebration. The event was listed as a promotional and community-engagement activity intended to bring residents and businesses together.
The meeting also included abbreviated updates from several working groups. No formal votes were taken on event funding or permits at the meeting; the committee recorded these as progress reports and planning steps.
The Needs Assessment Survey team reiterated the target closure date of April 2 to allow compilation of results for future planning work. The committee adjourned at 12:15 p.m. The next Revitalization Committee meeting is scheduled for March 23, 2026.
