Broken Bow approves consent agenda, awards sale of city lot and appoints Park Board member

The Broken Bow City Council approved routine and administrative business at its June 22 meeting. The council voted to excuse councilmember Larry Miller’s absence and approved the consent agenda, which included the June 8 meeting minutes, bills to date and November–April treasurer reports. The bills and bi-weekly payroll were listed in the minutes and totaled $149,173.08.
During administration reports, City Administrator Dan Knoell opened two sealed bids for the sale of College Estates Block 2 Lot 4: $12,500 from Mike Kratzer and $22,500 from Premier Storage. The council accepted Premier Storage’s bid of $22,500 (Holcomb and Schmidt voted aye; Myers abstained).
The council also approved the appointment of Ryan Coleman to the Park Board for a three-year term ending February 2024.
