Zoning Administrator Dan Knoell told the council the lot split application for property at 79772 Highway 21 met zoning requirements; the Planning Commission had previously recorded a 3–3 tie. After opening and then closing a public hearing, the council voted to adopt Resolution 2021-8 to permit the split.
The council also voted to adopt Resolution 2021-9 to authorize the sale of City-owned property identified as College Estates Block 2 Lot 4, which the record lists as valued over $5,000. City Attorney Jason White explained that the $5,000 figure reflects a statutory threshold for reporting and notice requirements, not the asking price. The council directed sealed bids for the parcel be submitted to the City Clerk by 9:00 a.m. on June 18, 2021.
Both motions passed on roll-call votes with Councilmembers Jacob Holcomb, Chris Myers, Dave Schmidt and Larry Miller recorded as voting aye and no nays recorded.
