Deep River trustees welcome Heidi Degree; selectmen to consider filling additional seats

Deep River — The Deep River Public Library Board of Trustees welcomed Heidi Degree as the new trustee replacing Linda Hall at its Feb. 9 meeting and thanked Kim Olsen and Alexa Jamieson for their service.
The minutes record correspondence from Michael Pulver expressing interest in an open Democrat seat and an email from Kathryn Russell indicating Luann Catudella’s interest in the open Republican seat. The board noted that the Board of Selectmen will discuss and possibly vote on appointing one or two trustees at their Feb. 10, 2026 meeting.
Donna Mingrone said she will meet with Lori Gregan to discuss outstanding recommendations from a recent HR study, including defining the location of registrars and organizing a Friends of the Library group. No formal appointments were made by the trustees at the Feb. 9 meeting; the selectmen’s action is the next procedural step.
