Dellwood council reappoints WBLCD representative, approves claims and other routine business

At its April 14 meeting the Dellwood City Council unanimously reappointed Mark Wisniewski as the city’s WBLCD representative, approved the March minutes and March claims list, heard a Mahtomedi JPA update, and received the 2025 financial report showing a cash increase.
The Council of the City of Dellwood unanimously reappointed Mark Wisniewski as the city’s representative to the WBLCD and approved routine business at its April 14 meeting.
Staff noted Wisniewski’s term expires at the end of April and that he is agreeable to another term; Mr. Wisniewski described the WBLCD as operating like a city with board members from each member city. On a motion by Mayor Mike McGill, seconded by Karen Quaday, the council reappointed Wisniewski unanimously.
The council also approved the meeting agenda (motion by Mayor McGill, second by Melissa Peltier), the March 10, 2026 minutes (motion by Greg Boosalis, second by Mayor McGill), and the March 2026 claims list (motion by Karen Quaday, second by Greg Boosalis). All recorded motions passed unanimously.
City Attorney Joel Holstad said the Mahtomedi city attorney had notified him about issues they are addressing that do not involve Dellwood; Holstad said he would be notified when the JPA is ready for council consideration. City Treasurer Brian Beich distributed the 2025 financial reports and summarized that there was a cash increase in 2025.
