Dan Irvin, surveyor, presented a proposal for a building addition and new parking layout for the Westmoreland County Food Bank on Tax Parcel 57-12-00-0-087. The Planning Commission found the submitted site plan lacked sufficient information to determine compliance with the SALDO’s off‑street parking and loading standards.
The commission asked for a revised site plan showing a 15‑foot rear and side yard setback, a 30‑foot front setback from Devonshire Road and Cloverleaf Drive, clearer building dimensions and area information, removal of topographic contour lines for clarity, and identification of access off Cloverleaf Drive. The plan must specify the number and dimensions of parking spaces (minimum 9 ft by 20 ft), row widths (not less than 24 ft), and the size and location of three proposed loading docks. A note addressing an existing shed encroachment onto the Rimco property must be added indicating the encroachment is a private matter to be resolved between owners.
Stormwater management and erosion control (NPDES) plan approvals were also required. Because of the list of missing information the commission voted to table the plan until the applicant submits the requested details and required certifications.
