Salem supervisors report pumping relief and progress on Crabtree-area sewer feasibility study

Supervisor Kerry Jobe gave a status report on the Crabtree sewer feasibility study, telling the Board that preliminary numbers are favorable and that final figures will be shared in a forthcoming PowerPoint; Jobe said work from Morris Knowles will increase slightly given required effort but that the proposed approach appears more cost effective than an MAWC alternative.
What happens next: the township will await the final feasibility numbers and the presentation; supervisors indicated no immediate system failure within township infrastructure, and noted that further invoicing from engineers (Morris Knowles) is expected as the study concludes.
