The Salem Township Planning Commission voted Sept. 4 to advertise a special meeting during the first two weeks of October to review proposed amendments to the township Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO).
The commission said the advertisement will be placed 7–10 days before the scheduled meeting, and the revised SALDO materials will be available at that time for public review. Resident John Write asked whether any materials would be distributed to the public before the meeting; the commission responded that the revision will be available when the advertisement is posted.
Paul Holleran moved and Connie Mattei seconded the motion to advertise the special meeting; both members voted in favor and the motion passed unanimously. The commission did not set a specific date at the Sept. 4 meeting; members will agree on a date for the first two weeks of October and the township will post the notice accordingly.
