The minutes record program subtotals (for example, some prior-year Flower Barrel activity shows a negative net in the breakout), but do not record any formal reallocation or funding decisions at the Feb. 10 meeting.
The committee confirmed the 2026 Annual Spring Cleanup date for Saturday, April 25, and reviewed planning logistics. Members debated whether to expand the post-cleanup picnic into a larger fundraising event; some members said the picnic should remain a community thank-you, while newer members saw fundraising potential. The group agreed expansion would require a dedicated committee and clear leadership and tabled the subject until the strategy meeting.
Separately, Janice Wivagg asked that the Nip Bottle recycling program be added to the next strategy meeting agenda because current store-funded approaches have not noticeably reduced nip litter collected at cleanup days.
A procedural motion to approve the Jan. 10, 2026 meeting minutes was seconded and approved by members in attendance. No roll-call vote or formal tally was recorded in the minutes.
