O'NEILL, Neb. — The Holt County Board opened bids on June 16 for the Redbird Bridge Rehabilitation Project No. C45(575) and accepted the low bid from Garcia‑Chicoine Enterprises.
Bids opened at 11:30 A.M. were: Garcia‑Chicoine Enterprises, $151,505.00 (completion listed Sept. 6, 2026); JMN Construction, $190,532.00 (completion Dec. 2026); and Nemaha Infrastructure, $222,648.20 (60 calendar days). Bowman representative Gregory Hutmacher reviewed the bid documents for the Board.
On a motion by Supervisor Breiner and second by Supervisor Tielke, the Board voted to accept the low bid from Garcia‑Chicoine Enterprises for $151,505.00. Voting aye were Linquist, Neiman, Frahm, Tielke, Breiner and Paxton; Supervisor Josh Treptow was absent. The motion carried.
