Oneida County Planning & Zoning staff reported at the June 10 meeting that 17 tourist rooming house (TRH) administrative review permits were revoked after owners failed to renew despite receiving reminder letters and additional time to apply. The department sent three reminder letters prior to revocation and provided information about how to appeal.
One property owner appealed a revocation; the Board of Adjustment considered the appeal and upheld the department’s revocation. Planning staff presented the matter for committee awareness; the committee discussed the revocations and took no further action at the meeting.
