The Village of Peck council handled routine business and several approvals during its Oct. 16 regular meeting, including adoption of minutes, the meeting agenda, approval of cash disbursements, and a new village slogan.
After roll call confirmed attendance, Trustee Phronsie Warren moved to approve the Sept. 18, 2024 minutes; the motion passed unanimously. The council then approved the meeting agenda as presented.
Mayor Pro-Tem David Tyler moved (second: Phronsie Warren) to approve cash disbursements as presented; trustees voted unanimously to carry the motion. Later in the meeting Trustee Phronsie Warren moved (second: Andrew Warren) to approve the police office quote as presented; that motion also carried with all trustees voting aye. The transcript does not record a dollar amount or vendor name for the police office quote.
The council adopted the new village slogan “It’s a Great Place to Come Home To.” That motion passed, and Trustee Andrew Warren cast the lone recorded no vote on the slogan item.
The meeting closed with a motion to adjourn at 7:27 p.m.
