The Middlefield Park and Recreation Commission on April 9 voted to suspend kitchen rentals for pavilion bookings and established a new fee schedule for pavilion use.
Under the adopted policy, pavilion-only rentals will cost $50 for residents and $100 for nonresidents. Add-on fees for water, inflatables or bathroom access are set at $25 for residents and $50 for nonresidents. A $100 refundable security deposit will be collected at booking through Rec Desk; renters are required to clean all areas they use and remove their own trash or face forfeiture of the deposit.
Jessica Poetzsch moved to approve the pavilion fee schedule and the suspension of kitchen rentals; Chris Hurlburt seconded. The motion passed unanimously among members present.
The commission also directed the recorder to add findings from a recent pavilion inspection to the amended minutes, and to continue reviewing pavilion-related policies at a future meeting.
