A group of Ansonia students and their mentors presented to the Board of Education on Feb. 19 about a research and exchange trip to South Korea, describing school visits, cultural experiences and the work that led to the visit.
Assistant Principal Tammy Adames, who introduced the group, said Superintendent DiBacco and Mr. Bergin supported the opportunity. Teachers Ms. Marsh and Ms. Craven, who mentored the students, and Mr. Wynne accompanied the trip. Students described a 16‑hour flight, local architecture, school clubs and activities, and shared photos and a video prepared during the visit. Ms. Craven said students were selected through an application process.
The board thanked the students for the presentation; no formal action was required.
