Town Attorney Andrew Fost told the council that “she is renewing a permit but has not brought it up to code,” and that submitting a new permit application does not resolve outstanding violations or stop fining. Council members agreed John should follow up with the property owner and obtain a definitive completion date or other evidence of imminent compliance.
The council took no enforcement vote at the meeting; members directed staff to pursue the compliance details and return with updates. The next regular meeting is expected to include further updates if the owner provides additional documentation or a completion schedule.
