The board later accepted a bid from contractor Tyler La Plante to powerwash the school building after a motion from L. Griffith and a second from K. Laramore; that motion also carried as all in favor.
On transportation, L. Griffith moved and K. Laramore seconded an update to the district's bussing policy to provide transportation only to current Arvon Township School students; the board adopted the change unanimously. The board also voted that meetings eligible for stipends will total 13 (12 regular meetings plus one budget meeting).
Procedural items completed at the meeting included adopting the agenda as amended and approving minutes from the June 27 budget meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
