Three Oaks renews manager contract and fills PSC, DDA seats

The Three Oaks Village Council on April 9 renewed Village Manager Dan Faulkners contract for two years and approved a slate of committee appointments.
Following a performance review President Graziano summarized broad support for the manager's leadership. The council renewed Faulkner's contract through April 2027 with a base salary of $85,000 and approved a one-time $3,000 bonus that had not been paid in the previous two years. The motion to renew the contract was moved by Niemzyk, supported by Hinman and carried unanimously among members present.
The council also formalized PSC bylaws and made multiple appointments. Short two-year PSC appointments (expiring April 2027) were approved for John Kramer, Dan Faulkner, Tom Flint and Richard Smith. The council reappointed Marco Chavarry as a DDA member/Chair to a four-year term expiring April 2029 and reappointed Tom Pauly to a four-year DDA term also expiring April 2029. Additional PSC appointments for four-year terms (expiring April 2029) were approved for Dave Lockhart and Mike Holfels.
Graziano publicly thanked staff for their work on the audit and on ongoing projects. The council did not modify the manager's base salary beyond the noted bonus and did not set additional contract provisions in the public record.
Next steps: staff will implement personnel paperwork for the manager's renewed contract and confirm start/end dates for the appointed committee terms.
