Committee to present $144,915 sewer-camera bid to Council; lagoon pumps and samples progressing

Council member Andrew Rudd told the committee that Whitney Services submitted a $144,915.00 bid to camera the village sewer lines and that he and Manager Faulkner will present a draft agreement to the full Council on April 9, 2025.
Mondello asked whether the Whitney bid included line-cleaning; Rudd said he would follow up to clarify whether cleaning is part of the scope. The committee recorded the bid amount and directed staff to bring a draft agreement to the next Council meeting rather than taking committee action, since there was no quorum.
On sewer operations, Matt Lindsey reported Lagoon 3 is at low water and staff are setting pumps to discharge Lagoon 2 into the weir that leads to the creek. Investigatory samples have passed and the department sent actual samples out Monday for testing. Lindsey also said crews have been working on replacing pumps at the Highway Lift Station and are waiting for Gasvoda to program the control box before full operation resumes.
The committee noted the bid and operational updates for follow-up by staff and presentation to Council.
