River Ridge schedules Aug. 27 hearing to adopt FY2025 budget; five-year CIP updated

Cleo Adams, District Manager, reviewed monthly key activity dates and said management has created a management template for goals, objectives and annual reporting to be used across clients. Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal presented an updated five-year Capital Improvement Plan and the Board discussed design and permitting for proposed guardhouses, possible fund transfers into cash sweep accounts, a well and a traffic-hawk traffic-calming device as potential capital projects.
The Board confirmed the next meeting date as Aug. 27, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., which will include the FY2025 budget adoption hearing. Supervisors Gilman, Twombly, Blumenthal and Mountford confirmed they will attend in person and Supervisor Bob Schultz will attend by telephone.
Supervisor Robert Twombly raised concerns about Board members not always having needed information prior to meetings; Mr. Adams said staff will provide periodic updates on major projects going forward.
