The board also accepted a rescind (end of school year 2026) and an intent to retire (end of school year 2027) from Dan Bjorkquist. Board member Joanna Wilbee‑Amis submitted and the board accepted her resignation effective Feb. 13, 2026.
Hiring actions approved included Theresa Shepeck as junior varsity softball coach and Teamster hires for Kayla Bizeau (aide) and Lisa Nelson (food service aide). The board approved the High School Outdoor Club and the Middle School Art Club as Schedule B activities.
The board voted unanimously to move into closed session at 6:45 p.m. for contract negotiations and the superintendent evaluation; the roll call vote listed all seven members in the affirmative. The meeting returned to open session at 7:41 p.m. and reopened at 7:42 p.m., after which the board approved a Teamster Agreement and accepted the superintendent evaluation; both motions passed 7-0.
