The Godwin Heights Public Schools Board of Education unanimously approved its consent agenda at the Oct. 13 meeting. The consent items included minutes from the Sept. 22 special meeting, payroll approvals for Nov. 5 and Nov. 20, 2025, and personnel recommendations for hires and resignations.
"Motion to approve the consent agenda" was made by Hornecker and supported by Crow-DeYoung; the roll call vote was all in favor and the motion passed unanimously. The record lists the approval but does not specify vote counts.
Under discussion items, board members were invited to contact Lori if they wished to participate in the district's Santa Parade on Dec. 13, 2025; no formal vote was taken on that matter.
Later the board voted to move into closed session to discuss an athletic issue. Hornecker moved and Erskine supported the motion; the board entered closed session at 6:35 p.m. The closed session adjourned at 6:50 p.m. No details of the athletic matter were disclosed in the public minutes. The public meeting then reconvened and Drake moved to adjourn; the meeting adjourned at 6:51 p.m. The minutes are signed by Colleen Anderson, Secretary.
