Godwin Heights board unanimously approves consent agenda and adopts Policy 4003 on salary schedules

At a Sept. 22 special meeting the board approved the consent agenda (minutes, financial report, personnel hires) and adopted Policy 4003 (New Employee Salary Schedules) via unanimous roll call votes; motions were made by Hornecker and supported by Crow-DeYoung and Drake.
The Godwin Heights Public Schools Board of Education unanimously approved the consent agenda and adopted a policy update on employee salary schedules at a special meeting Sept. 22 at the district administration building.
The consent agenda included minutes from the Sept. 8 regular meeting, the July 2025 monthly financial report and bills payable, and personnel recommendations to hire. Hornecker moved approval of the consent agenda, Crow-DeYoung supported the motion and the roll call vote was recorded as all in favor.
Under Action Items the board considered Miller Johnson Policy Update 20.01 to adopt Policy 4003 (New Employee Salary Schedules). Hornecker moved to approve the policy update; Drake supported the motion. The roll call vote was unanimous and the motion passed.
A motion to adjourn was made by Drake, supported by other members, and the meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m. The minutes were submitted by Colleen Anderson, secretary.
