Village Administrator Jung-Han Chen told council on May 21 that five bids were received at the recent refuse collection bid opening and that the village is seeking a vendor for the next three years. "The bid proposals were all competitive and will need to be reviewed before making a recommendation to Council for their consideration," Chen said. He added the current contract expires at the end of June.
No award was made at the meeting; Chen said staff will review bids and bring a recommendation to Council for action prior to the contract expiration.
Councilmember Randy Wolf moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:27 p.m.; Councilmember Stacy Stoner seconded. A roll-call vote was taken with all councilmembers present voting in favor and the meeting was adjourned.
