Hebron schedules bid openings for paving and waterline work, vows to rebid culvert project; Earth Day chipper day planned

Village Administrator Jung-Han Chen told the council on April 16 that a bid opening for miscellaneous street paving and a waterline replacement is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. the following day and that refuse service bids received last week are under review by the village solicitor.
Chen reported that only one incomplete bid was submitted for the Sugar and Broadway Streets culvert replacement project and that the village will rebid that project. No bidders meeting or contractor names were provided in the minutes.
Chen also announced that the village will hold a chipper day on April 22 to coincide with Earth Day. The announcements were informational; no procurement decisions or contract awards were approved at the meeting.
The council adjourned at 6:16 p.m.
