Luther council reviews DPW repairs, hall access and committee plans; fireboard seat to be decided in March

On Hall Committee matters, Michelle Goodman said the committee has substantial work to do and the meeting schedule is not currently posted. Connie Holmes said the cleaner requested a key; Tiffany Clark moved, seconded by Brittany Carlson, to allow the cleaner access once a month or as needed. The motion carried and the council discussed maintaining an assigned key list. The council indicated no opposition to public use of the hall.
Carrie Fansler noted there were Fire Board minutes provided for review; Holmes asked about the Village fireboard member and Treiber said committee and representative assignments will be addressed at the March meeting. The Community Improvement Committee reported it will pause in January and will work on a planned Mardi Gras event in subsequent months.
Porta‑potty delivery and pickup dates were discussed: the board noted a typical schedule is delivery in mid‑April and pickup the week after Labor Day. No formal procurement vote was recorded at this meeting.
