At its Feb. 10 meeting the Hoosac Valley Regional School Committee recorded the following formal actions:
• Approval of minutes from Jan. 13, 2025 — On motion of Erin Milne, seconded by Fred Lora; VOTED to approve. Vote: yes 5, abstain 1 (Robert Tetlow).
• Approval of Overnight Adventure Skills trip to Bolton Valley, Vt., March 11–12 — On motion of Andy Przystanski, seconded by John Duval; VOTED to approve. Vote: unanimous.
• Approval of the District Improvement Plan (DIP) — On motion of John Duval, seconded by Andy Przystanski; VOTED to approve as presented. Vote: unanimous.
• Approval to participate in a regionalization study with NAPS and the NBSU — On motion of Erin Milne, seconded by John Duval; VOTED to approve participation. Vote: unanimous. The superintendent estimated the study cost at roughly $200,000 and said Senator Barrett would be involved in seeking financial assistance.
• Motion to enter executive session under M.G.L. c. 30A, s. 21(a)(7) to approve executive session minutes from Jan. 13, 2025 — Motion passed by roll call; the committee did not return to open session.
• Adjournment — On motion of Andy Przystanski, seconded by John Duval; VOTED to adjourn at 9:04 p.m. Vote: unanimous.
