Volunteer named for foot clinic reservations; Winter Wellness sessions and luncheon lineup set

The foot clinic meets every other month (typically on the third Monday) from about 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; the minutes note the price for a 20-minute foot-care appointment rose from $40 to $45.
The Council scheduled four Winter Wellness arts-and-crafts sessions at 1 p.m. on March 2, 9, 16 and 23; the March 2 session is listed as Sand Art and sessions are expected to run about 45 minutes. The February luncheon menu and program were recorded as veal parm, penne, salad and rolls with Isaac Shares of Elder Services listed as the speaker; the minutes list 36 attendees for that luncheon.
Other confirmed or proposed events recorded in the minutes include a March program on choking prevention by Nancy Slattery; a possible April 16 presentation in which Mary Serrat would perform a characterization of Susan B. Anthony (Marion Tinney will notify Joanne Larmon if the date changes); a May 14 "Super Senior Party"; a June 11 sing-along with Roger Tincknell; and a Sept. 17 presentation by Dan Kauffman on maple sugaring. The minutes also list Oct. 15 as open and Nov. 12 as a date for Dan Kauffman to present either "Grand Canyon" or "USS Constitution" (the minutes do not specify which topic will be presented).
Entertainment scheduling notes that July 16 is being held open for Soular Eclipse if the band cannot perform in August, and that Jill Cole will contact the six-piece band Soular Eclipse to confirm an Aug. 13 performance (band slot listed as 12:30–1:30 p.m.; food options noted as sandwiches or grinders).
