Hinsdale/Peru Council on Aging approves Jan. minutes; treasurer reports donations and grant disbursement

The Hinsdale/Peru Council on Aging approved the Jan. 12, 2026, minutes and reviewed the treasurer’s report at a meeting Feb. 9 in the Town Hall Community Room.

Jennifer Stark, committee member, moved to accept the Jan. 12 minutes; Alice Gmyrek, committee member, seconded the motion and the minutes were approved by those present, according to the meeting record. The minutes do not provide a roll-call vote tally for the motion.

At the start of new business, the treasurer distributed an updated Feb. 9 report and noted two fund movements: $200 collected at the holiday party was sent to the Hinsdale Food Pantry, and $2,000 from a grant associated with Amanda Raymond was disbursed to Raymond for materials for senior arts-and-crafts activities.
