A motion was made and seconded to ask Trustee Elizabeth Mottor to continue exploring Erin Murphy Design to create a more user‑friendly library website. The board voted "all ayes" to proceed; the minutes state Sarah Welch has already worked with the vendor and that a redesign would take about a month.
Trustee Vivian Mason suggested the board form committees for different purposes and proposed amending the bylaws to include an attendance policy; she also recommended the board begin discussing how to manage the transition from an interim director to a permanent director. These are governance items the board asked trustees to research further.
On events and fundraising, Mottor agreed to bring boxes for a Book/Bake sale; the board discussed holding the sale Saturday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., and Sunday, 12–4 p.m. The minutes also note a "Green Collar" event scheduled for Feb. 18 and Marge Filkins' proposal to partner with staff on cleaning and sorting the upstairs room.
