In a roll-call vote the council recorded ayes from Good, Howlett, Cattel, Morehouse and President Ogden; there were no nays and two members (Powers-Taylor, Fairbotham) were absent. Howlett then moved, with Cattel supporting, to authorize the Village Manager to sign the Notice of Award; that motion passed on a voice vote with all present in favor.
The action was taken during a brief special meeting called to order by President Ogden at 7:35 P.M. The agenda was approved at the start of the meeting on a motion by Howlett, supported by Cattel. There were no public comments recorded. The meeting adjourned at 7:42 P.M. on a motion by Cattel, supported by Howlett.
The council minutes identify Joe Riaca Excavating, Inc. as the low bidder and list the contract amount as $54,800. The minutes do not name the Village Manager; the council authorized that official to sign the Notice of Award. The minutes are marked “UNAPPROVED.”
