The Rockwood City Council approved several small contracts and disposition actions at its March 18 meeting.
Council Member Mercure moved and Council Member Robertson seconded payment of the LensLock Inc. invoice for $3,146.50, to be funded from the equipment rental fund (M-059-26); the motion passed with unanimous assent. The council accepted the sealed bid of $3,054 from John Rhodes of Carleton for a 2010 Ford F‑250 with plow (M-064-26), again by unanimous vote.
On fire-department matters, the council approved supporting a $1,275 intra-fund transfer to cover weather-siren work with West Shore Services (M-060-26) and approved a three-year contract for fire-department services or equipment (M-061-26); the meeting record shows those motions carried unanimously. The council also received and filed the February fire monthly report (M-062-26).
Funding notes: the LensLock payment was charged to the equipment rental fund. The sealed-bid proceeds were accepted as the successful bid in the meeting record; the transcript does not specify any conditional requirements or additional administrative fees.
Next steps: city staff will complete sale paperwork for the F‑250 and proceed with contract execution and vendor payments as authorized by the motions recorded in the minutes.
