The Pleasant Hill City Council approved the third reading and adoption of Ordinance #967 on March 24, rezoning property generally located in the 7000 block of SE 6th Avenue from A-1 Agricultural/Open Space to R-2 Low Density Residential.
Senior Planner Brian Dunkelberger summarized the zoning history: the City referred the request to the Planning & Zoning Commission by resolution earlier in the year; the Commission recommended approval and the City's Future Land Use Plan (Pleasant Hill 2050) designates the parcel as Low Density Residential. Dunkelberger described surrounding land uses including row crop production and nearby platted residential subdivisions. The third reading passed unanimously with no new public comment.
