After discussion, the council concluded it was in the Village’s best interest to have the village attorney handle the complaint. Mike Harris said he will update the Ordinance Committee on any actions taken by the Village Attorney.
The referral means the complaint will move to legal review rather than being handled administratively by staff or the commission.
