Planning commission to survey residents as part of master plan update, Rothbury council told

Mike Harris told council the Planning Commission is preparing a resident survey to inform an update to the Village Master Plan and that zoning complaints have declined since a new online form launched.
At the Sept. 17 meeting Mike Harris provided an account of the Planning Commission's Sept. 10 meeting. Harris said Planning Commission members are preparing an updated survey to send to residents to gather input for updating the Village Master Plan.
He also reported that since the Planning Commission put a new zoning complaint form on the village website, no new zoning complaints have been received.
Council did not take formal action on the master plan at the meeting; the update and resident survey will proceed through the Planning Commission process.
