Rothbury council approves 2025–26 budgets, authorizes community prizes and pays bills

The council also approved a motion to repeat the “Golden Eggs” prize for the Village’s April 19 Easter event — a prize that allows winners to pick out a new bicycle at Walmart — after Recreation Director Brandy Williams described the plan. The motion to provide the Golden Eggs was made by Mike Harris with support from Autum Drake and passed 7–0.
At the meeting’s close, the council approved payment of the presented bills on a motion by Mike Harris, seconded by Jim Fekken; the vote was 7–0. The meeting adjourned at 7:26 p.m.
