Council approved a one-time transition cost of $26,070 and an annual subscription fee of $8,770. The motion to proceed with the software change was made by Dylan Zuniga and supported by Mike Harris and passed 7-0.
Clerk Brandy Williams read a budget amendment that adds $361,593.20 to Mass Gathering revenues, moves $15,000 to Clerk Technology Services (101-215-802) and $15,000 to Treasurer Technology Services (101-253-802) to cover the software purchase, creates a new fund-balance account for Czarny Park with $150,000, and places $181,593.20 into unallocated reserves (bringing unallocated to $272,993.20). The council approved the amendment on a 7-0 vote (motion by Mike Harris, support Jim Fekken).
The council recorded the motions with unanimous votes and directed staff to implement the budget changes and begin the software transition. No specific vendor contract details beyond the purchase cost and annual fee were recorded in the minutes.
The clerk will update records to reflect the new accounts and the technology purchases; council did not set a public timeline in the minutes for completing the software migration.
