Roseville Community Schools board approves multiple staff hires, reclassifications and coaching appointments

The Roseville Community Schools Board of Education unanimously approved a series of personnel recommendations at its July 7, 2025 regular meeting, including new hires, reclassifications, a resignation and coaching appointments.
The board voted to accept the personnel slate on a motion by Secretary Joseph D. DeFelice, supported by Vice President Kevin Switanowski; the motion carried 7-0. The list included new hires scheduled to begin in August and September 2025: Aaron Adams, Technology Paraprofessional at Roseville Middle (effective Aug. 27, 2025); Emilie Belanger, English teacher at Roseville Middle (Aug. 27, 2025); Davon Gray, Resource Room teacher at Roseville High (Aug. 27, 2025); Scott Meigh, social studies teacher at Roseville Middle (Aug. 27, 2025); Regina Miller, English teacher at Roseville Middle (Aug. 27, 2025); and others as listed in the personnel recommendation.
The board also approved reclassifications, including Christon Calley from Restorative Justice Aide to Restorative Justice Facilitator at Roseville High and Ann Paul from Teacher—ELA at Roseville Middle to Dean of Students at Eastland Middle (effective Aug. 12, 2025). A rehired speech and language therapist (Stephanie Berlin) and a bus driver (Teisha Hudson, effective Sept. 3, 2025) were noted. The minutes also record the resignation of Alexandra Muhammad as Dean of Students at Eastland Middle on May 23, 2025.
Coaching recommendations approved included volunteer and paid assignments for the 2025–26 school year: multiple volunteer boys’ varsity basketball coaches and a paid girls’ varsity basketball coach (Aja Williams). The motion accepting the personnel recommendations carried unanimously (7-0).
The board did not debate these items at length; they were presented as personnel recommendations from administration and approved as listed. The board will reconvene for its next regular meeting on July 21, 2025.
