Chair Julie Mockabee said the commission held a kick-off meeting with PAL, which described the project process. Mockabee said the commission requested that a timeline be added to the phases outlined in the PAL plan. Vice Chair Bob Kelley and other commissioners referenced historical sources—Daniel Wing's diary and town meeting records—related to Taylor-Bray Farm and historical reservation and meetinghouse locations at Swan Pond.
Lisa Sherman said PAL will hold a public outreach meeting on May 13 from 9 a.m. to noon at Town Hall to allow local archaeologists and historians to share any information they have about possible artifact locations in Yarmouth. Commissioners asked staff to notify interested parties and to include the requested timeline in the project documentation.
