Manchester council approves routine contracts, equipment purchases and appointment

At its Feb. 2 meeting, the Manchester City Council approved a series of routine motions covering contracts, equipment purchases, legal codification and an environmental consulting agreement.
The council unanimously approved renewal of the Manchester Area Youth Sports (MAYS) contract for 2026 (motion: LaRocque; second: Woods). It also approved purchase of two digital drum scales from USA Bluebook at $1,759.95 each, totaling $3,519.90 (motion: LaRocque; second: Dresch).
Councilmember Dresch moved, and Councilmember Mahony seconded, approval of up to $12,150 to codify the City Charter and 12 ordinances through American Legal Publishing; that motion carried unanimously. Council also approved an agreement with IMEG to develop an Industrial Pretreatment Program not to exceed $15,000 (motion: LaRocque; second: Dresch).
Separately, the council reappointed Barry Osterbur to a three-year term on the Board of Review (motion: Mahony; second: Woods) and approved the Accounts Payable Report dated Feb. 3, 2026, in the amount of $27,892.28 (motion: Dresch; second: Woods). All recorded votes on these items were unanimous (Ayes: Chartrand, Dresch, Harvey, LaRocque, Mahony, Woods & Vailliencourt).
No ordinances, resolutions or contested votes were recorded in the minutes for the Feb. 2 meeting.
