Commission action
After staff and counsel discussed options (broadening the language to "structures," allowing the mayor/city manager to execute final language, or tabling for two weeks), Commissioner Haney moved to table the item until the Aug. 20 meeting so staff and counsel could revise Exhibit A and provide material clarifications. The motion to table was adopted.
Next steps
Staff and the citys attorney will revise the agreement language to explicitly state the types of structures covered (e.g., buildings, bridges, other structures) and provide the commission with proposed task-order procedures and budget limits at the Aug. 20 meeting.
