Cusolito told the board that the increases are modest—$41 and $13 respectively—because a recent change to the process and formula used to calculate Section 8 project-based voucher (S8 PBV) rents reduced the size of typical adjustments.
Board members did not record any abstentions or opposing votes. The motion updates rents to the allowable Fair Market Rent levels; the authority did not indicate an effective date beyond the motion passed at the Dec. 9 meeting.
