City staff told the Monona Planning Commission on June 30 that the July 13 meeting has been canceled due to lack of quorum, that the July 27 meeting will be a heavy agenda and both August meetings are likely to be canceled, leaving the commission’s next regular meeting in September.
Staff (Doug) said notices and newspaper postings will be distributed and asked members to flag any scheduling conflicts. He also reported enforcement and follow-up items: owner-related issues at a property called Zutys (including a damaged window) are being addressed as part of enforcement, and changes in ownership at a mixed-use building require updated landscaping plans and other outstanding items before occupancy for some upper floors can be issued.
Staff said updated landscaping plans are in hand and that the city is working through 2022 approval conditions to pave a path toward occupancy for the affected units.
