The Chair recognized members of the Polly Winston County Career Academy HOSA chapter and thanked students, families and teachers for their commitment.
The Chair said, "I just want to say to all you ladies, I know this doesn't happen by chance. It takes a lot of commitment, a lot of dedication, and a lot of hard work," and then introduced honorees: Miss Tennyson Gilbreath, recognized as a state vice president and chapter secretary for 2025–26; Miss Teresa Hamby, named HOSA advisor of the year; Kate Barton, HOSA member of the year; and Miss Aubrey Sanders, recognized as HOSA state president for 2026–27.
