The CRA meeting opened with a business spotlight featuring Cadeau Curated, a newly opened gift boutique in downtown Fort Myers. Owner Dina McNair told the board she relocated from Naples, described product lines including hand-poured wax melts, engraved and embroidered gift items, specialty teas and home fragrances, and described a partnership providing "boat tote" gift packages through MarineMax.
Shawnee Stenson (marketing specialist) introduced the business and invited McNair to present for five minutes. Commissioners praised the store as a welcome, locally owned addition to downtown retail and encouraged the owner to pursue partnerships with nearby hotels and downtown merchants to attract both residents and visitors.
McNair said the shop is located at the entrance to the Banyan Hotel inside the post office arcade building and that she hopes the storefront contributes to downtown regrowth.
