The application scored 30 out of 40 and the motion to approve funding at the program maximum ($200,000) was moved, seconded and approved by the board.
Commissioners and staff noted continued interest in redevelopment along the MLK corridor and said staff will return with a targeted program to address corridor-scale projects beyond the current facade grant vehicle.
