A presenter for the project summarized recent exchanges with reviewers and said the team has posted multiple technical documents, including a third-party noise analysis, transformer specification sheets, a draft hazard-mitigation analysis, an emergency response plan, a decommissioning estimate, a certificate of insurance and a glare analysis.
Kathy Ford, a planning board member, moved to postpone the hearing until June 18; the motion was seconded by Nester and carried with no objections. A staff member confirmed the materials are available on the town website.
A board member asked whether a person referred to in the discussion as "Luave" had agreed to the rescheduled date; the presenter confirmed that the group had coordinated by email and that the June 18 date was agreed upon by the parties involved. The presenter said, "I think we're in a good spot," and described a series of submitted responses: the board of health provided comments on May 7; the organization named Blue Wave responded on May 19; and the project team submitted replies on May 15, May 21 and May 26.
The presenter told the board the materials and appendices are intended to address outstanding questions and that staff and the applicant will monitor any clarifying questions from board members before the June 18 session. The presenter said the team hopes to close the public hearing at that meeting and then deliberate on possible conditions for approval.
After confirming document availability, the board voted to continue the hearing. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn that was seconded and approved.
