The Town of Otis Selectboard approved a list of poll workers submitted to the board and authorized signatures at the June 10 meeting.
The board read through a slate of reappointments. Selectboard member Terry Gould moved to approve the reappointments with the exception of the Assistant Building Inspector and the Water Operator positions; Chair Gary Thomas seconded the motion and it passed.
The Selectboard made appointments for full-time and per-diem staff coming to the town from the Otis Rescue Squad; Brandi Page noted these appointments are indefinite. The board also discussed the Water Operator position and agreed to continue using the current outside contractor for testing while reserving the option to revisit an in-house role later.
The board reviewed two applications for a School Committee vacancy and decided to delay appointing anyone until the next meeting. Payroll and vendor warrants were placed on the table for signature.
