Trustee Sharon Lee moved that the board "accept the agenda, as presented," a motion seconded by Yvonne Fields. The motion carried; members recorded as voting in the affirmative were Dr. Celeste Hawkins, Sharon Lee, Yvonne Fields, Maria Goodrich, Talisha Sutton-Kennedy and Dawn Espy. Jeanice Townsend was listed as absent.
No members of the public spoke during the public comment period, which the board opened under its public comment protocol (Policy 0167.3) and noted a three-minute limit per speaker.
During closing remarks, Trustee Talisha Sutton-Kennedy thanked the facilitator and the board for the workshop. Board President Dr. Celeste Hawkins said she "learned a lot about myself and others" and thanked staff for providing food. Dr. Zachery-Ross offered appreciation "for the board and council for all their work." The meeting adjourned at 8:56 p.m.
